Belvedere Civic Club June Meeting

Updated: Jun 3, 2021

The Belvedere Civic Club will host the South Precinct Police Meet Up and Roll Call

For our June meeting, the Belvedere Civic Club will host the South Precinct police meet-up and roll call coordinated by DeKalb County District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson.

We will be meeting on Saturday afternoon, June 5, at 2 p.m. at 3357 Memorial Dr. (the intersection of Memorial Drive and Rupert Road).

Commissioner Johnson will speak and welcome officers to our neighborhood. Community members who attend this meeting will have the opportunity to meet with Commissioner Johnson and to inform him of any concerns or comments they have.

Rather than conducting the roll call for the evening watch at the South Precinct Headquarters, the evening watch officers will come to our community and conduct the roll call here. We will have the opportunity to mingle with the officers, get to know them, talk with them, ask the officers questions concerning police and patrol procedures, and inform the evening watch commander of any concerns or issues that our neighborhood is having.

If you wish to express your appreciation to our police officers for their service to our community, then please attend this meeting and let them know you support them.

Commissioner Johnson has asked the Belvedere Park community to host this event. Therefore, we will be providing light refreshments, snacks and drinks for all attendees and especially to the officers before they begin their evening patrol.

If you have issues or concerns which you feel that Commissioner Johnson or our South Precinct police officers should know, then please attend this neighborhood-police meet-up on Saturday afternoon, June 5, at 2 PM.

We look forward to seeing you there!
