Animal Crematory/
Dead Animal Collection
The Sanitation Division offers the following services for properly disposing of dead domestic animals:

Landfill drop off
Animals over 100 lbs. can be transported to the Seminole Road Landfill. All necessary fees must be paid at the Landfill, and are based on the following fee schedule:
Securing and preparing the burial site at the Landfill - $200
Additional fees based on the animal’s weight:
Up to 999 lbs. - $16.50 • Over 1,000 lbs. - prorated at $33 per ton

Recycling Program
Recycling helps control rising sanitation costs, creates green jobs, and decreases the amount of solid waste sent to the Seminole Road Landfill, extending the Landfill’s useful life. This subscription-based service is offered to residents at no additional cost beyond the annual sanitation service fee.

Rain Barrel Workshops
Workshops are hosted at various locations throughout the county, including parks, schools, churches and community gardens. During the workshop, rain barrel kits (plastic drum and installation kit) are provided at a cost of $25 per participant.
