Field Enforcement

DeKalb County Animal Enforcement Services provides care, education, and protection services for animals in the fight against cruelty, while enforcing County ordinances. Animal Enforcement Officers are available Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 10:00pm. Animal Enforcement Officers are on duty or available for emergency responses 24/7.

Controlling Nuisance Wildlife

If you are having issues with nuisance wildlife, contact AWARE. The AWARE Wildlife Center rehabilitates Georgia’s injured and orphaned native wild animals and educates the community about peaceful coexistence with wildlife.
