Dedicated to the quality of life and well-being of our community
South Precinct Police Meet-Up and Roll Call
On Saturday, June 5, the community gathered at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Rupert Road at the invitation of DeKalb County District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson.

Rather than conducting the roll call for the evening watch at the South Precinct Headquarters, the evening watch officers came to our community and conducted it here with us. Members of the community mingled with the officers, got to know them, asked the officers questions concerning police and patrol procedures, and talked with the evening watch commander about any concerns and issues we have.

Commissioner Johnson addressed the crowd, welcomed the officers to our neighborhood, and invited Wayne Powell (President of the Belvedere Civic Club), Shelby Kurland (President of Belvedere Park Neighborhood Association), Police Chief Mirtha Ramos, and Teresa Hardy (President of the DeKalb County NAACP Branch) to make brief statements.
