Come take part in this national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships.
All our friends and neighbors from Belvedere Park and surrounding areas are warmly invited to our community’s celebration of National Night Out. The Belvedere Civic Club is proud to have hosted this event for over 20 years.
This year's celebration will begin at 4 pm on Tuesday, August 1st at the pavilion in Shoal Creak Park 1 off of White Oak Drive.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
We will be celebrating with a cookout, music, and great fellowship with our neighbors. Come out to meet and mingle with your local public servants. In addition, the DeKalb County Fire Department will provide one of their fire rescue vehicles. They will provide a tour of the vehicle and provide fire safety information.
